Wendell is our golden retriever: the sweetest, itchiest dog you'll ever meet. For two years our kitchen counter looked like a pharmacy — sprays, wipes, three kinds of shampoo, and four supplement tubs with labels that promised everything and explained nothing.

The 2am scratching was the worst part. If you've been there, you know: the rhythmic thump against the floor that wakes the whole house, and the guilt of not knowing how to help.

The turning point was a vet friend saying something simple: “Skin problems usually start in the gut. Fix the inside first.” We went looking for one complete, honest chew built on that idea — named strains, real counts, no miracle promises. It didn't exist. So we made it, and named it after the dog who needed it most.

Today Wendell (the chew) does for thousands of dogs what it did for Wendell (the golden): calmer stomachs, quieter nights, and coats that catch compliments on walks. And we still answer every email ourselves.
